There was a running joke in my family when I was young. My mother used to say, “Shaun, with the amount of time you spend in the bathroom you are going to grow up to be a toilet inspector!”
Now that might sound crass, but looking back it is so so true. I constantly had felt uncomfortable, irregular, bloated and gassy. And that really is not the way to enjoy life. I spent years seeing specialists and going for tests, but to no avail. Somewhere in my thirties, a doctor suggested I use a fiber supplement until I could get an appointment to see a gastrointestinal specialist. I took it for a few days, didn’t notice a difference and it became another thing that ended up in the bottom of the bathroom cabinet.
Months later when it came time to move to another apartment, I decided to try and use up as much as possible of anything that was left in the cupboards and cabinets so I would have less to move. Two weeks later (after easing myself into a daily routine of dietary fiber use) I was as regular as a German train, and literally felt like a million bucks.
Now it is time to share it with the world. Because who does not want one less thing to worry about?
